Shake it like a bowl of soup…

January 5th 2007 in Diet, Journal

This is probably a little late for most folks for today, given that lunch is only a couple hours away, but I wanted to let all of you in the Piedmont Triad area know that I am declaring today the first, and I hope not the last, Phở Phriday. Look, I made a logo:

Now, I’m fairly certain Daniel already declared Fridays to be Phở Fridays, but I spell Friday with a ph and I made a logo (feel free to use my logo for your future Phở Fridays, Daniel). Also, this Phở Phriday occurs east of the Mississippi. Maybe we can start Phở Phriday chapters across the nation!

For those in the Piedmont Triad area, Phở Phridays will occur at 1pm, every Friday, at Phở Hien Vuong on Spring Garden Street. Click here for fancy Google mapage.

I picked Phở Hien Vuong because I know it, and the service and food are excellent. If anyone knows of a better place for phở, I’m certainly willing to try it. Today, I’ll be at Phở Hien Vuong. Hope to see you there. If not, hope to see you next Phriday.

Wooo hooo.

I used to do Pho Friday. Then It turned into Pho Fuednesday. Then it just sort of died all together. I’d love to participate again. Perhaps next Friday… or should I say, Phriday.

Alas, that is a bit too far for me to go for lunch on Phridays…I will, however, see if there is an equivalent in my area (being East of the Mississippi, I can do that) and will try to partake.

Hey, ho, let’s go…

Wow. While it may be cause for sadness on many fronts, there is much rejoicing on others (woot!). I’ve been getting tidbits of live coverage from today’s MacWorld 2007 Keynote Address and, as speculated, they’ve announced an iPhone. An hour into demonstration of the device (which runs OS X and links seamlessly with iTunes, Address [...]
