Three, three, three for my heartache…

November 21st 2006 in Coaching, Fitness, Journal

Did phở again today and it was just as delicious. I also remembered to try the cà phê sữa đá, and that was good too. I don’t think I’ll be ordering it a lot, though, as there’s an awful lot of caffeine in it. I’m like bouncing off the walls right now. For those of you that didn’t follow the link yesterday, it’s basically a double shot of espresso, mixed with a shot of sweetened, condensed milk, and then poured over ice. Very tasty; very engine revving. I don’t typically consume a lot of caffeine, so I’m fairly sensitive to it.

I finally got back to fencing last night. It seemed like ages since I was there, though it’s really only been a week. It also marked my return to exercise since being sick. This week, I’m just doing the fencing. I’ll add my elliptical machine back next week, and weight training the following week. This is why I work so hard to not get sick; it totally screws up my routine. We did get three new fencers in the foil class. Two folks came over from our Saturday CALL class and another off the street. It made for a decent group and I’m feeling a lot better about attendance. I also got to flex my private lesson muscles last night. That was fun too.

And, finally, via digg:

He saw the mudders’ lament…

Yesterday Corrie Ann calls me at work, giggling, to tell me to expect an email from The Boy. Up until now his email address has been little more than an alias for Corrie Ann’s, but now he has a fully functioning email address of his own. That wasn’t why she was giggling, though. See, The [...]
