Oh no. Not again…

So, the movie was really, really great. At a couple of points I laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face. And the whole audience seemed to get most of the jokes. Now I am sitting in a park watching Devin play while Corrie Ann runs to the farm supply store. Man, I love where I live.

Concessions of a dangerous mind…

And, of course, short ticket lines make for even shorter lines at the concessions. No wait for the outrageously priced, bucket of greasy popcorn!

Wait. What is my line…

One of the many nice things about living in the middle of nowhere is summer blockbuster movie lines. This is the line to see The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy at one of our local multiplexes. Gotta love always getting the best seat in the house and never having to stand in line for it.

From the Nokia 6820…

Well, it is officially official. The sign on the front of our building, as well as the one in the lobby, has been changed. We are now all one big orange family. Hooray!

It’s not as though I really need you…

vaspider, I saw this and immediately thought of you. Or, rather, I thought of Drina, which made me think of you and pants.

If I die tell my wife I said, Hello…

How evil are you?

Which, oddly enough, is exactly what I strive for. Also, some of you may have noticed that, unless I’m posting from my phone, all my posts are titled with song lyrics. Today is a departure. I’ve decided to add film and television quotes to the list of available material for post titles. Some day I may do a meme where I make you guys guess the source of some set number of posts. But today is not that day.

As some of you will note, if you’re looking at this on the actual site and not LJ, I’m am now at day 16. That’s sixteen days without a cigarette. I’m fishing for compliments here because they help make it bearable. Also, by way of rewarding me, feel free to toss me iTunes music codes from your Pepsi bottles. I mean, if you’re not using them, that is.

So yeah, reward me! Validate me! But, most of all, LOVE ME! Ahem…

In other news, pretty much right after I posted that Spring Has Sprung picture down there, we had a flurry. It was a teeny-tiny one and evaporated the moment it hit the ground, but still. Waht is the deal with the freaking weather this year?!!

Ha! My brother bought a MiniVan. What a dork. I refuse to join said club. I refuse!

Spring is springing. All the trees around the house have fresh new leaves, and the lawn no longer looks like some desert airstrip. Hooray!
