Dude, I understand. I’ve been carrying this thing all week but only lost 1 day of work (actually 1/2 — you know how that goes). On the bright side, we got our 2nd bonus today.

Dude, if you haven’t already, go to the doctor. If you have the same thing I do it’s dangerous to leave it untreated. It can spread to your heart and kidneys. Upshot is it’s just a run of antibiotics. I will say mine’s been painful enough that up until about an hour ago I was stuck in bed. Tylenol Arthritis works wonders though.

Seriously, listen to Mario. Get. A. Strep. Test. It takes ten minutes and can be done in most clinics (and out here, in grocery stores as well). Strep Throat can become /very serious/ if you do not get it taken care of. Some forms of it can attack the valves of your heart and kill you. Also? It is insanely contagious, so not doing anything about it means you get a lot of other people sick.
