Ten Tentacles
So many arms, so little time.

And I go: No I don’t want to I’m okay, I’ll figure it out myself…

Right, so my heart’s not going to explode. That’s the good news. The rest of the news I have to wait on, and they changed my freakin’ med. I mean it’s not as though I take it all the time, really just as needed, but I hate medication in general and a new one is always scary.

So, I’m trying cod liver oil and St. John’s Wort on my own, and taking the new scrip and filling it just to have it around. The cool thing is that I did get the Wellbutrin for smoking cessation. Gonna be starting on that next week. Wish me luck.

Work’s been pretty busy. There’s a lot going on with the merger while we all try to find our place and learn the new technologies. It’s good work, there’s just a lot of it right now.

At home: Home is good, as ever. Corrie Ann’s been busy with closing her books for the end of the year. She’s been a little frazzled and feeling guilty about the state of the house. It hasn’t helped that she’s been sick either. I’ve told her a million times, but I hope she believes me when I tell her that I don’t care about the house or anything else. I just want her to have the time she needs to get done what she needs done. She’s a stress-kitten, though. What’re you gonna do? Her books are done, so that point of stress is gone for another year.

Devin is growing like a weed; a sassy little weed. But, his dad’s sassy, so I guess I can’t complain. And really, I’m exaggerating. He’s a brilliant kid and just blows me away sometimes with some of the stuff he says. Not that it’s naughty stuff, just like, ‘Where the hell did he get that from?’ Example: Today he and his mom are getting into the car and his mom starts the car. he pipes in, “Mom, wait. Let me buckle up.” So mom waits while he buckles up. He struggles a bit, but finally gets it and then says, “Ok. We’re off like a herd of turtles!” (I do have to confess, I know he got that particular one from his mom) Stuff like that. It’s a riot.

I’ve gotten hooked on Galactica. Yeah, like I needed another SciFi show to get stuck on. But, seriously, any show that can get me choked up and nearly to tears, three episodes in a row. Damn! Also, the new Starbuck rocks.

Games: Guh, too numerous to name. Though, most of my time lately is spent on Knights of the Old Republic 2, Halo 2, Call of Duty, and X-Men Legends. Also, a sekkrit project. Shhh!

I think that’s it for the updating-ness. Welcome by buddy walkingtheblog to LiveJournal. He’s a virgin. Be gentle. Heh.

Hehe, off like a herd of turtles. SO CUTE!!! Also, best of luck quitting smoking. It takes on averate 4 tries, so even if it doesn’t work out, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try again. Of course, some people do manage on the first shot, so here’s hoping. :) *hugs!*

Oh, hon, this isn’t my first try. More like my sixth. Still, thanks for the vote of confidence. :)

Just when all seems fine and I’m pain free, jab another pin in me…

So my back is killing me. The spot they had me sitting in on my last trip had me all hunched over and I think I’m paying for it now. Feels like someone’s trying to wedge a hot poker under my right shoulderblade. I tried a heating pad last night, with some relief. In fact, [...]
