So many arms, so little time.

I wanna pop. I wanna…

March 4th 2004 in Journal

Well, that’s it. I’m officially spent. I spent a good deal of today coding, coding, coding. Couple that with only getting about four hours of sleep last night and, phew! But, now, due to my efforts I can pretty much stop using LiveJournal’s internal client for editing and deleting posts that are mirrored there, and my LiveJournal now keeps an accurate running tally of comments instead of just saying Care To Comment? (though it will still say that if there are no comments).

Sadly I really can’t remember what I did this last weekend. Oh! Wait, yes I can. I fixed my grill. The gas burner had rusted to pieces, but since it happened sometime last October I never really got around to fixing it. BBQing in Winter is no fun. Anyway, I ran down to Sears on Sunday and bought a new burner and a new ignitor. I installed both and we BBQed Sunday night. We also BBQed Monday and Tuesday nights. We like BBQ. Which reminds me, What the hell is it with you people in the South and BBQ?! BBQ is not mashed up, shredded meat drowning in sauce! Ahem!

This coming weekend will probably be spent going to the transfer station. My adoring wife spent a good deal of time on Monday cleaning out the garage. It was mostly her mess, but we won’t go there. Anyway, all the trash is ready to go out, so I’ll be hauling it down. Then comes the detail work on the garage. Many boxes of old stuff to go through and get rid of. We’ll likely be doing this the rest of the weekend. May as well get a head start on all the Spring cleaning. Wee!!

Finally, if you’re on LiveJournal you can enter your username below and it’ll plot you on a map. Maps are cool! You know you wanna do it!

I’m trying to get all my Livejournal friends’ locations plotted on a map - please add your location starting with this form.

Let’s here it for the boys…

Ok, this meme, not a lot of you are going to get. But for those of you are familiar with my RPG (both on-line and tabletop) personas, read on.

To everything, turn, turn, turn…

Maybe this is something everyone knows, but I didn’t really come to realize it until we moved up here on our little hill. When the weather’s going to change, the wind blows. And, up here? It blows hard.

The wind’s been howling for two days now. Usually we prepare for it, removing things from the deck [...]
